This is going to be one of the regions major events this year, on Saturday 21st April from 11.00 Derek Gardiner (most will know him as Gazman) of Absolutely Shocks will be giving a Geometry /Shock  / Spring / Set up clinic at Offord Motor Company.

With assistance by their experience TVR technicians, this is not a hard sell opportunity for either company, anyone who has met Derek will know he is passionate about suspension and set up especially relating to his other passion TVR cars.

Attendees will get information on the reasons for poor handling and the cures. You may be surprised to learn that it is more likely a set up issue than defective suspension. The cure therefore is potentially much cheaper than fitting a bright shiny set of adjustable dampers only to find the situation has not improved or even worsened.

As part of the day Mike Kelly will be having the dampers he won at Thunderball fitted and set up free of charge. This will include ride height and geometry.

An Offord owned Chimaera will be set up in advance in an aggressive track day set up for dynamic summer or track day handling.

Another car will be set up with an ‘All year round’ specification and attendees will get the chance to experience the difference first hand. And if this wasn’t enough another couple of lucky punters of Derek’s choosing will get a geometry set up free of charge. The cars will be selected on the day based on the greatest need. We will all get the information we need to be able to get our cars set up correctly. There will be refreshments available and Gazman and the TVR technicians will be on hand to answer all our questions.
