There were a good array of other TVR's running down the quarter mile Strip. Cerbera's,Chimaera's, S series, T350's etc along with Some real Dragsters. There were a few Griffiths actually running the 1/4 mile strip ,namely Derek's, Andy Race's,Nick's, Neil's,Tim's and Pete Bull's The fastest TVR down the Strip was Cyclones Cerbera 4.5 with a time of 11.969 and speed of 115.91 mph. The Griffiths werent far behind that time/speed. These are the times I have for the Griffiths that run, I dont have them all so if yours ran and you have the time etc please let me know and I will add them. I know I could do so much better, but I have a fair amount of mechanical sympathy for the car- some would call it driving like a tart! There are some more Photos of the day here http://www.pocketwiz.com/tvr/santapod2006 Thanks to Derek(seasider) who I think Andy Hills who took the photo's and Ian (lake) for sending/letting me use their Photo's |
