The Griff in the pics is a very early 400 with 32k miles which we bought as a Cat D write off with front end damage. The chassis was undamaged and just needed repainting.
| | The car was repaired using a front from a very late 500LE,so has the small clear indicators and the Larger 7" headlamps (We will be able to supply the LE pods soon and will be offering them as a conversion kit).

The car was the fully repainted in Viper GTS Blue ( a Tuscan colour) and fitted with a black interior and blue carpets as the original beige was well past its best. We then fitted our own 5 stud conversion, 18" Spiders, 500 brakes, adjustable shock absorbers and the car is lowered 15mm front and 10mm at the rear.Camber, and toe in angles have all been adjusted and set up to suit the 18s and it handles just as well if not better than a Griff on standard wheels. I am restoring another car for myself which has been a long drawn out body off chassis job but when this car came up for sale I snapped it up because it was quite an easy repair and a much quicker option to get a car on the road for this summer, as due to work I haven't had my own car on the road for over 3 years! Some examples of our prices (all plus VAT): - Labour rate £35 per hour
- 6k Service £325
- 12K Service £450
- Front end repaint £800
- Full car repaint with all panels off the car and all shuts and engine bay painted varies from £2000 to £2500 depending on any repairs needed.
- 7" Headlamp conversion kit (for home fitting using your existing lenses) consisting of 2 F/G pods painted to your colour and 2 New Hella headlamps c/w new fittings £250
- 18" Spider conversion prices still to be finalised due to maching costs varying depending on numbers of hubs we get done but is likely to be around £2500 fitted, expensive I know, but the wheels themselves are £205 each, but its definately worth it!
