We are very pleased to confirm that this years Griff Growl V will again be at the Ettington Chase Hotel, Nr Stratford - the same venue as the last few years. The dates for your diary are Friday 17th August - Sunday 19th August 2007.

Its too early for details of all events, activities and exhibitors but
please be rest assured that it will be bigger and brighter than ever! We
dont plan to go backwards...

First information for you relates to the Hotel Rates.

FFG has negotiated some excellent rates with the hotel which are - £65 for a double room - £55 for a single room

GROWL to secure the rates. There are twins available if you want to share.
We have provisionally reserved 100 rooms for the Saturday night plus 15 for
the Friday.  The Sunday is available too if anyone wishes to stay over.
Rooms are secured up the the beginning of July so please reserve your room
early - you do not have to pay until you check out so you can still cancel
if you cannot make it nearer the time.

• The Polishing Company- are looking for 2 cars for a ‘mini’ detailing over the weekend at the very special price of £175 this will comprise paintwork rejuvenation and swirlmark removal plus cleanse and waxing. • Steve Heath - has donated an engraved tankard and is giving 15% off all orders placed for collection on the day or sales on the day. He is also donating £1 to the Air Ambulance for every sale. Cheers Steve we appreciate it.

• Ride Drive - once again – and without even asking -  Julian has come up with the goods with a ½ day TVR driving experience as a prize. Big Bob and even bigger Mo will be there on the day. Thanks Julian
• Absolutely Shocks - Derek will be there with some now kit –his Supertracker sc400, which is one of the first of a new type of geometry machine just in from the States.It measures live caster and camber and toe on every wheel individually. He will be offering basic tracking checks and reports for members FOC. Oh and he has donated a pair of dampers as well – cheers Del

There are some late comers who may be joining us so this list is likely to be added to. 

The organisers are overwhelmed by the very generous support of all the trade attendees received to date. As always we would urge all the attendees of the Growl to remember those who support all of us, when you make your purchasing decisions now and in the future. There is a great deal of passion out there for our great cars, from traders and we need to support them.

In addition to the above we will also have a stand manned by the TVRCC and are also finalising plans to have wait for it...a Rolling Road...courtesy of Crazy Horses of North London.

There will also be a small range of clothing - details to follow - marked with the "Griff Growl 2007" logo, which will include the traditional Polo Shirt but as well as new additions of a Baseball cap, Waterproof Jacket and Fleece.

We are also discussing special offers with a number of the above supporters of the Growl and details of these will be released as and when - so watch this space!!!

During the course of the Saturday/Sunday we will also have a few competitions and some organised run outs.

Friday night (for those early birds) is looking to be a beer and curry night with a trip into Stratford for the curry following last year's successful event. Saturday night will be the traditional BBQ with live band at The White Horse.

In recognition of the work that the Gloucester Air Ambulance did last year in saving the life of Paul van Loock ('Dutchone') and wife Jacky after they had crashed en route, this years Growl will be supporting that charity. You will recall that we raised £557 last year for the MS Society and will aim to do better for this year.
