Ok Guys, It’s finally here. This year’s tvrmonster International. Due to our heavy workload this year, Cerburgring in March (20 TVRs to the Nurburgring), our International in July and the racing calendar, there will be only one International this year…so I thought I’d better make it a good one! Most of you will know, that I have been working on this for around 18 months. Getting the track, the support and not least Mike Caine for a whole week in summer is no small task…but I’ve done it. A whole week touring France with support in peak summer! A holiday in itself, but we include two great Trackdays with the best instruction possible! So what’s the Itinerary?

 

Itinerary  15th – 20th July 2007

Sunday 15th      – Meet at Ashford for a few beers and overnight (if required – not included).

Monday 16th    – Ferry to France, for our tour to Dijon via Reims “Ghost” GP.
Tuesday 17th     – Dijon-Prenois Trackday. One of the all time greats and a personal favourite!
Wednesday       - 18th Leisurely Tour across central France to our LM Hotel.
Thursday 19th   – Le Mans Trackday with Mike Caine as our own Instructor.
Friday 20th       -  Tour back to ferry via St Malo.

What’s Included?

For those who haven’t been with us before, we leave crossings for you to book yourselves with a recommended crossing via ferry. This is due to the variety of travellers we have onboard i.e. those who have to leave late, prefer the faster Chunnel and those who are touring before and/or after the event. What we do include is

This truly is a one off. Mike has been very supportive of the “Monster project” and is really looking to this trip - Tuscan Champ, twice Le Mans veteran and currently racing for a top team in the Porsche Carrera Cup GB – Mike is in great demand, and you could be with him in your car at Le Mans! Mike will also be staying with us at the hotel and so there will be plenty of time to chat and get to know him. If we run at capacity we will have an extra Instructor with us at Le Mans. Mike Wilds (also a Le Mans Veteran) will be joining us to ensure that you have absolutely THE best time out there withy the best, so make sure you are onboard!

To secure your slot, you need to place a deposit for your relevant option, and the balance by June 1st.

Remember that these costs are for one car with two people and accommodation is on Twin basis, so you can share the costs with a mate or bring the WAGS and call it a Weeks French Touring holiday. There will be several WAGS it seems and they are very welcome!

Phew, well that’s how its going to run to give everyone as much notice as possible. I would urge you all to do Dijon, its a great track and gives you the whole TVR week and a makes it more of a Holiday. The area is beautiful, and well worth the drive in itself.
